Our Family

Curt & Cindy

Hudson Farms is owned and operated by Curt and Cindy Hudson and Chris and Ashley Hudson.  Curt, a fourth generation farmer, has been farming for more than 40 years and began working with his parents, Boyd and Helen Hudson, after college. Curt earned a BS in Farm Business Management from Purdue University. 

 

Current and recent activities include: Tipmont REMC, Board of Directors, Linden Cemetery Association, Board of Directors, Linden-Madison Township Historical Society, New Richmond Masonic Lodge, and Linden United Methodist Church, member.

 

In 2007, the Montgomery County Soil and Water Conservation District awarded Curt the "Farmer of the Year", recognizing his active incorporation and implementation of conservation practices on his farm.


Cindy earned a BS in Medical Technology from Indiana University-South Bend. She spends her time involved in many religious, community, and outreach organizations. Cindy is on the board of South Haiti Medical Missions, a Master Gardener educator, and is an extremely active member at Linden United Methodist Church, focusing on church programming, missions and education. She's currently transitioning out of her previous role managing Hudson Farms’ accounting and bookkeeping operations.


 

Chris & Ashley

Christopher, a fifth generation farmer, has worked for Hudson Farms since graduating from Butler University. Christopher earned a BS in International Management, with an economics concentration, from the College of Business in 2008. He was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon social fraternity and was the chapter's President as a sophomore.  Through College of Business he participated in two internships in the corporate business world and studied a semester abroad in Australia.

 

Christopher’s primary roles include: technology and data management, risk management, production & supply management, business marketing, and business systems management.  

 

Continued learning and professional development activities include: Post-Baccalaureate Ag Economics & Marketing Courses at Purdue University, The Executive Program for Agricultural Producers (TEPAP), Association of Agricultural Production Executives (AAPEX), NCGA DuPont New Leaders.

 

Current and recent activities include: Farm Credit Mid-America, Advisory Board: Williamsport, Indiana, Linden United Methodist Church, member. 


Ashley earned a BS in Accounting from the Miller College of Business at Ball State University. She currently works as a kindergarten teacher in the North Montgomery School Corporation and is an active member at the Linden United Methodist Church where she is the Edna Circle president and Nursery Director.

 

Ashley is currently transitioning into the primary accounting and bookkeeping role for Hudson Farms’ newly restructured business entities.

 

Continued learning and professional development activities include: AAPEX/TEPAP Managerial Accounting Workshop, NCGA DuPont New Leaders.
